Ladies practices begin

Lurgan Ladies have begun their pre-season outdoor practices which are being held each Thursday night between 6.30pm and 8pm. Lurgan have secured the services of former Irish international Derek Heasley to coach the girls this season and all new players are welcome. As well as competing in the Women’s Premier League, Lurgan also plan to field an U-15 girls side....

Tribute to Alan

Prior to the commencement of play in the Cup tie between Lurgan and Academy at Pollock Park on Saturday, both teams and officials lined up for a minute’s silence as a mark of respect for Lurgan stalwart Alan Johnston who sadly passed away at the end of March.  

Ists start with Cup win

Lurgan’s season got off to the best possible start with a 5 wicket win over Academy in a preliminary round of the Senior Challenge Cup.
