Lurgan Ladies continued their excellent start to the season with a 6 wicket win over Muckamore at Pollock Park.
A superb four overs from Suzi McCollum paved the way for the home side. Suzie claimed 3 wickets while conceding just 2 runs as the visitors were skittled out for 32 runs in just 14 overs. Jane Kilpatrick took 1 wicket without conceding any runs in her two overs and there was a wicket each for Lauren Breakey and Emma McMurray. Sharp fielding by the Lurgan girls also contributed to 3 run outs.
In reply, Lauren Breakey top scored for Lurgan, hitting 16 before being dismissed leg before. By then the game was virtually over as the home side claimed their second consecutive league win, passing the Muckamore total in the just the 8th over.
