Gordon Bell

It was with saddness that the Cricket Section learned of the passing of our friend and member Gordon Bell. The huge turnout at his funeral showed in how high esteem Gordon was held by club members and the community as a whole. As well as being a driving force behind the Rugby Section for many years, Gordon also played cricket for the club and represented the club as an NCU umpire for a number of years. He was a great competitor at whatever sport he played and always a pleasure to play alongside. We will miss him. We extend out Deepest Sympathy to his sons Stanley and Garfield, their families and the wider family circle.
